Tilman Hausherr commented on PDFBOX-3903:

Please do not click / add every item you can find. This is like pushing all
buttons in an elevator.
- "PDFLIB" is a different product. If you need support with PDFLIB, go to their
support page http://www.pdflib.com/en/lizenz-support/supportfall-oeffnen/ .
- The labels "PDF" and "Java" are not needed: all issues ever created in our
tracker are about Java and PDF
- You do not have to insert your text twice.
- Do not click "Patch" unless you have a patch.
- That your environment is "PDFBOX" is not really surprising, considering that
this ticket area is about PDFBox.
- How exactly is this relevant to XmpBox?
- And of course, your issue is "important".
Please read https://pdfbox.apache.org/support.html before ever asking a
question again.
TTF fonts are vector fonts. They don't have a color. Some application may
decide to render them in cute colors but that's their decision. If you copy
your emojis into Microsoft Word they'll appear in b/w.
If you want to use emoji images then do just that, use images. Note that these
may be copyrighted.
