Resolution: Duplicate
Closing as duplicate of PDFBOX-4326 and PDFBOX-1752. I've added you as a
watcher there. The "red" problem will be fixed in 2.0.12 (it is already fixed
in the trunk), for the black splodge problem see my upcoming comment in
PDFBOX-1752.
