Your PDF has a broken /ToUnicode stream, that is why some of the fonts are not 
decoded correctly.

The original PDF ( [^ESt_1_A_2019.pdf], found at 
[https://www.formulare-bfinv.de/|http://example.com]) does not have this 
problem. Thus I suspect that some additional software added text on this PDF 
and did not do this very well.

I hope that the data (tax#, bank#) in the PDF you uploaded is not actual data - 
if it is, please delete the PDF. I have saved it (temporarly).
