Well - as mentioned above - some classes extending COSBase were already
implementing equals() whereas others don't. If we'd like all of them to behave
the same some of them need to be changed either the ones already implementing
it or the ones not implementing it. My initial (maybe naive) intention was to
make them all implement it. I'll revisit the changes done to 2.0 as it wasn't
intended to change existing implementations. Keep in mind that 3.0 might change
the default.
