The file is named ".pdfbox.cache" and is in your home directory / your user
directory. Open that file with an editor. Are there any fonts from the
"/usr/share/fonts" directory?
4 / 5) But does it find the ZapfDingbats / MS Gothic font? "to find" is neither
positive not negative.
You can also try to copy the files into the ".fonts" subdirectory of your home
directory.
