Michael Klink commented on PDFBOX-2776: --------------------------------------- The problem here is that the task in this issue is unclear. Both LTV related mechanisms of the old ISO 32000-1 and of the newer PAdES specifications were discussed. These mechanisms differ considerably. Both "LTV-enabled" in Adobe Acrobat and PAdES LTV were mentioned as targets. They are not identical. Up to here the issue essentially served as a brain storming platform for LTV related features. > support "Long Term Validation" signature extensions (LTV) > --------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: PDFBOX-2776 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-2776 > Project: PDFBox > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: Signing > Affects Versions: 2.0.0 > Reporter: Ralf Hauser > Priority: Major > Fix For: 3.0.0 PDFBox > > Attachments: certified_368835_Sig_de_201026171017_LTV.pdf, > nonSigPdf-sig1.pdf, notCertified_368835_Sig_en_201026090509.pdf, > notCertified_368835_Sig_en_201026090509_report.png, shortLivedCrlAsLTV-sig.pdf > > > in recent acrobat readers, every signature is commented w.r.t.
