Peter Wyatt commented on PDFBOX-3892:
-------------------------------------
As of today, PDF 2.0 (ISO 32000-2) is now zero-cost for everyone!
See
[https://www.pdfa.org/announcing-no-cost-access-to-iso-32000-2-pdf-2-0/.|https://www.pdfa.org/announcing-no-cost-access-to-iso-32000-2-pdf-2-0/]
This also includes ISO-approved errata and new crypto extensions for PDF 2.0.
ISO 32000-2 is the first PDF specification developed in a vendor-neutral,
consensus-based forum. As a result, there are 1000s of corrections and
clarifications that can help every PDF user and ensure reliability and
interoperability so please stop referring to PDF 1.7 from 2008(!).
