Unfortunately, the tgz file is misnamed. It has RC1 in the name of the tgz file and in the name of the dir inside the tgz. We use 1.0.0 in the tgz file names.

I don't think we need to completely restart this release. If we just replace the files in this dir: https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/pekko/CONNECTORS-1.0.0-RC1/ The files that are there have have valid checksums and pgp signatures. I'll look at the maven jars later.
