Are we sure finfo has not been fixed since then?  (whatever the bug 
was there?)

I would say drop this; at least until we get a more recent report.

IIRC then this is how apache works more than a fault of mod_perl.  
(But I might be mistaken).

Why does that matter?   Cookies are @#$%@$%; don't change them 
unless there's a specific issue to fix. 

This is the wrong department for that anyway now. :-)

makepl_args.mod_perl would maybe be nice to keep.  :-/  The rest
