Right, so the minor number isn't really that important for users.
Once we move to mp2.2, we won't be doing further releases of mp2.0;
that wouldn't make much sense.

I guess I'm happy with the current code, so I don't 
see any major reason to change stuff now.  As Geoff 
said, we did discuss these issues a while back, and 
we had a rough consensus that the current implementation
is fine.
