I'm pretty sure that's what some of stas stuff does, and what fred is
doing for the current Apache::Dispatch overhaul.
I think that we are actually doing perl Makefile.PL MOD_PERL=2 for
A::D. I will double check tonight, but it seems like we are trying to
accomplish some similar goals here Philip - ok to post general Apache::*
Makefile.PL thoughts here?
