On behalf of the Apache Phoenix project, I am pleased to welcome Rajeshbabu Chintaguntla as a committer. He's done a fantastic job implementing local indexes (https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-933), a new indexing strategy that colocates the index with the table data. This is a key feature in our upcoming release 4.1 release. Looking forward to many more contributions!
