Samarth Jain commented on PHOENIX-2408: --------------------------------------- Ugh, turns out I had to set the RPC timeout to a higher value. In particular - hbase.rpc.timeout. The default value of 1 min is too less for the update stats to read all the region's worth of data. [~mujtabachohan] - can you run UPDATE STATS again on the test cluster by setting the above timeout to a higher value (maybe 10 mins?). It is a client side config change. > Update statistics fails to complete > ----------------------------------- > > Key: PHOENIX-2408 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-2408 > Project: Phoenix > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: James Taylor > Assignee: Samarth Jain > Fix For: 4.7.0 > > > On a production cluster, when UPDATE STATISTICS is run, it fails to complete. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
