I think a compatibility mode would be at the mercy of all the adapters 
supporting it (and Phoenix wouldn't be able to support a Postgres compatible 
mode). We're just striving for getting to a feature complete state - supporting 
multiple compatibility modes wouldn't be on our radar in the foreseen future.
