Description:
I just loaded a table with a few million rows. After the load I flushed and
major compacted the table.
In the stats table I see that GUIDE_POSTS_ROW_COUNT was exactly 10485760 for
each guide post (that's exactly 1024 * 1024 * 10), which is strange... and not
correct - the table has 16m rows, but the guide posts added up to over 30m
rows. Running UPDATE STATISTICS fixed it to about 3.5m rows per guide post, it
should not be by a factor of 3 off from a major compaction.
Not sure about the cause, but wanted to report to that I (or someone) can keep
track of it.
This was with a build from the 4.7.0-0.98 tag.
