Sergey Soldatov commented on PHOENIX-4047: ------------------------------------------ [~gjacoby] well, as you correctly mentioned there are a lot of tuning knobs between different products from the ecosystem, but most of them are server side. Even timeouts on client side should be correlated to server side RPC/lease/cache expiration timeouts. If we want to change something for the client side, it's always possible to have a separate hbase-site.xml and get it used with HBASE_CONF_DIR. Do we really need to add an another configuration file? > Configuration Profile Feature > ----------------------------- > > Key: PHOENIX-4047 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-4047 > Project: Phoenix > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Ethan Wang > > New feature allow user to pick a configuration profile which contains a set > of pre-set properties for initializing phoenix connections. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.4.14#64029)
