Resolution: Won't Fix
[~chu11], you're quite right, it looks like I missed getting this fix into the
4.x-HBase-1.1 branch.
However, we have just stated that we're ceasing HBase-1.1 scoped releases in

As such, I'm going to close this as won't fix.
