I started learning Phoenix code and found some places are not using Java 8
enough. I file this JIRA as an umbrella of efforts to make {{phoenix-core}}
more Java 8 oriented. I will file sub-task while I'm navigating the code. So no
special order or priority is planned.
To assist review, I'll try to make changes limited to a file and/or a package.
I don't plan changes to the existing code logic. Any collaboration will be
appreciated. Feel free to file sub-tasks. And please help review. Thanks,
