What?! You didn't follow the previous 63 long email thread?! :-)

Please vote again on the new RC. Beyond two bug fixes (last two listed in
the CHANGES file), and mucking with the NOTICE and LICENSE for the binary
release, it's the same as the previous one.

The src bundle matches what you get when you do a git checkout at the tag,
so that one is fine. The binary bundle creation needs to be automated -
Mujtaba will do this before our next release.

The biggest objection I heard from the IPMC was that the source bundle did
not exactly match the git repo source. This has been fixed.

The second objection was around the LICENSE and NOTICE for the binary
distribution. I've been asking and asking (see this thread [1]), but still
no answer. It's kind of frustrating when you proactively ask and get no
answer, but then 3-6 days later when the release vote is started, they jump
in and point out flaws.

Thanks,
James
