[~russell.jurney] - We're not planning on doing any further 2.x releases.
However, 3.0 works with all of the same HBase 0.94 versions, plus there's an
easy upgrade path: http://phoenix.incubator.apache.org/upgrade_from_2_2.html
Data does not need to be upgraded, only metadata (which happens as described
above). There are a ton of bug fixes as well as many new features. Is there any
reason you haven't upgraded? Can we help in some way?
