    Attachment: PIG-2240.patch

> Do you know what the differences are between 1.6.0 and 1.7.3 of Jackson?

They are listed at http://wiki.fasterxml.com/JacksonRelease17, which says that
1.7 is backwards compatible with 1.6. I ran Pig smoke tests and they all passed.

> For a proper test, you probably should check that defaults are respected

I've updated the test to check the cases when no compression is specified.

> Allow any compression codec to be specified in AvroStorage
