Another thing that would help alleviate these pains would be a functioning and
enhanced PigPen of some form, showing the fields at each step with sample
records from illustrate in a table, coloring fields that changed in some way,
clickable ranges, etc.
In my opinion, visualization is not optional for complex dataflow programming.
We're just holding the flows in our heads instead of visualizing them.
