Russell Jurney commented on PIG-2614:
-------------------------------------
Followup^2 comment: I wish I could undo comments. Retesting with the actual
jar I get this...
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.slf4j.LoggerFactory
at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:202)
at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:190)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306)
at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:301)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:247)
... 7 more
Adding org.slf4j.LoggerFactory tells me this jar is missing.

> AvroStorage dies when a single bad record exists, such as one with missing
> fields. This is very bad on 'big data,' where bad records are inevitable.
> See discussion at

> for more theory.
