Welcome to the Apache Pig Community. If you are a newbie for Pig looking to
contribute, would be happy to scrub the jiras and identify some existing jiras
for you. What kind of jiras are you interested in working on?
It would be best to avoid creating trivial jiras that fix formatting,
findbugs (unless there is a focused jira to fix all findbugs warnings) or minor
code cleanup in a single class as they don't add much value and is a strain for
committers to review and commit.
