@darshants.darshan1: Thanks, Kishor and co for the fantastic knowledge session :) Would it be possible to share slides, performance stats and design documents? I ask this cos these references helps to bolster our internal notes/documents.
@karinwolok1: We're going to be publishing it soon!
@karinwolok1: This is a great blog post written by @pradeepgv42 at Confluera! Very well structured and really walked through their problem / ideas / requirements and challenges.
@pradeepgv42: Thanks @karinwolok1
@karinwolok1: In case you missed yesterday's online meetup on Apache Pinot 2020 Year-in-Review and 2021 Roadmap, here it is:

@ken: I’d heard that the server process has a set (10?) number of threads to handle query requests. Assuming we have very low qps, and want to minimize latency, is there a way to set the number of threads == the number of cores? And are there any other places in the system where similar constraints exist?
@ken: I see “UnboundedResourceManager” as an alternative to “PolicyBasedResourceManager”, what would be the downside to using that one? And assuming that’s not a bad idea, how would I configure my cluster to use it?
@mayanks: I think it defaults to 2x the number of cores. Also, it helps improve latency by parallelizing multiple segments processing for the Amar query.
