@kseniase: Hi everyone. TheSequence interviews ML practitioners to merge you into the real world of machine learning and artificial intelligence. • Here we spoke with Jim Dowling, Senior Researcher at SICS – Swedish ICT and an Associate Professor at KTH Stockholm. As part of his systems research, he built Hopsworks as an open-source data science platform – that includes the first open-source feature store for machine learning. *Check the full interview here:* **

@neer.shay: Hi, I ran a batch ingestion using "pinot-admin.sh LaunchDataIngestionJob" which seems to have completed successfully. In Pinot UI, I see that the reported size of the table is 17895109 (was empty before) so it seems the data was ingested properly. _*Yet when I go to query console and do a simple "select * from mytable limit 10", I get no results and it says numDocsScanned=0, totalDocs=0.*_ Has anyone encountered something similar? how can I debug this?
  @humengyuk18: Did you run it using docker or on your host?
  @dlavoie: Try increasing the timeout
  @neer.shay: @humengyuk18, it's on docker
  @neer.shay: @dlavoie, I'll try. thanks
  @dlavoie: Default timeout is 10sec and current UI will not be very explicit about it being reached. 17 millions records with no specific optimization with a small JVM may cause queries to go over 10 seconds.
