@bvarunpy: My requirement is to insert data in an excel file to Pinot. This would be a dynamic ingestion that happens through REST API Call where the excel file is the payload. What would be the best way to create a table and load data in an excel file into the table.
@bvarunpy: Can I do batch insert or does it need to be though Kafka, what will be the fastest way to do it
@mayanks: You can either do via Kafka or will need to setup a batch ingestion job.
@mayanks: You can pick whichever of the two is faster for you.
@mayanks: And if this is for simple testing, there's a rest endpoint that you can use:
