Ho ti all,
someone remember that some months ago I wrote an email to Tomcat
developers list asking for suggestions (comments, etc) on the fact
that we (the Pivot Team) were interested in creating a Pivot Console
for Tomcat ... this is a link with the start of the thread:
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/pivot-dev/201003.mbox/thread&rct=j&sa=U&ei=0oAqTLWnDcH3OYOA4bID&ved=0CBQQFjAA&q=apache+pivot+tomcat+console&usg=AFQjCNHuaNVhMOhn8QVigNrvicuAAuNzGA

after this, I've no more seen comments nor received mails from them (I
had to unsubscribe from their mailing list, too many mails every day),
but some time ago I've seen that in Tomcat 7 there is an RFE to being
able to configure it fully via JMX (the approach they said to me to
use, for a single instance and maybe also for a cluster of instances)
... I hope also in a persistent way (changes applied not only at
runtime as currently but should be also in configuration files).

Ok, no we have much work to do for the 2.0 release, but someone here
is still interested in this effort, or at least if not in the creation
of a "full" product maybe also on a working demo or tutorial (could be
a starting point) ?

Comments ?

Bye,
Sandro
