Are you saying to leave it up to the developer to make their own 'TaskListenerList' or that it might be worth including one with Pivot but outside of the Task class? It only takes a few minutes to knock one up, and is far from difficult, but it is one of the first things I did when I started utilizing tasks. I imagine it would be useful for others too, but it is certainly not essential.
