Sandro Martini commented on PIVOT-806:
--------------------------------------

After applying patches, try for example with related objects in
ComponentExplorer.
On Lists, try even to select something, and use many different chars on
keyboard (control chars, arrows, and alphanumeric) and see what happens.
Note that with alphanumeric char, the selection on lists tries to select the
next element (after the last element selected) with a matching char at the
beginning, so try for example with existing chars and even with not-existing
ones.

To speedup the solution if this (small) issue maybe the additional style to
disable the wrap search could be added even in a later release if you like this
feature enabled by default (I think could be useful).

Tell me.

> This feature is called "highlight". It appears when you mouse over an element
> in a list, table, tree, etc. and shows you what item will be selected if you
> click on it.
> When there is already (at least) one element selected, when I press any key,
> the highlight (of the element under the mouse) is removed, and this generates
> a little visual noise to the user.
