I guess if add an exit statement in methods (in various effects classes) when
transitions are disabled (set transitionEnabled: false in skin config file),
but logging this as info or warning to understand what is happening ... I have
to check if needed/useful.
But to keep things simple maybe this could not be required (at least for now)
... maybe (when logging will be enabled, write this info/warning).
