I would say that a stretch goal could be this: if you find things in JavaFX that Pivot is missing then the Pivot group would be interested in possibly implementing these things as well. So, we would welcome those kind of results/suggestions.

Thank you,

Alright I will start working on the POC.
So, basically we need to compare both JavaFX and Pivot and then choose the
better options among the 2 to work with XBaya?

Hi Bikramjeet,

Since you have early in the process, you had good amount of insists from
us. You can submit it, but i would encourage you to start working on
smaller proof of concept pieces during next few weeks so reviewers can have
more informed opinions.

An example suggestion will be, take an example swing application and port
it to Pivot and also to FX and write a honest comparison from a beginner
perspective. All the apache projects follow “Apache Way” where in we call
community over code. So you will not be offending any one by sharing your
frank opinions as long as they are constructive. Even better, you should
consider contributing patches. Lets say by means of this example, you found
FX has something better than Pivot, first you should point that out, and
next you should try and volunteer to make that change in Pivot, of course
working with the dev lists.

So shift gears from proposal and get started on a POC.
