Same platforms as screenshots:
On OSX: Family="Courier", Face="Courier", size=18, float size=18.0,
height=18.0, ascent=13.5703125, descent=4.4296875, leading=0.0
On Windows: Family="Monospaced", Face="Monospaced.plain", size=18, float
size=18.0, height=23.501953, ascent=18.09668, descent=5.4052734, leading=-0.0
Seems like the conversion / rounding from float to integer coordinates are
probably the issue here.
