Hi,

Let me briefly introduce our project. We are currently putting in place
a cruising boat which uses PLCs (crouzet) to actuate the different
hydraulic arms and engines onboard. We have developed an onboard
computer that interacts with the PLCs through modbus communication and
we are currently using the com.digitalpetri.modbus library to implement
the communication. We wish to implement a more reliable and maintained
library, where communication throughput is key. In our case,
disconnection could imply accident and therefore there is no
uncertainty we can accept.


Therefore we want to follow and evaluate the Plc4x project, which we
see promising. Let me know how we can help.
