Hi,
Let me briefly introduce our project. We are currently putting in place a cruising boat which uses PLCs (crouzet) to actuate the different hydraulic arms and engines onboard. We have developed an onboard computer that interacts with the PLCs through modbus communication and we are currently using the com.digitalpetri.modbus library to implement the communication. We wish to implement a more reliable and maintained library, where communication throughput is key. In our case, disconnection could imply accident and therefore there is no uncertainty we can accept. Therefore we want to follow and evaluate the Plc4x project, which we see promising. Let me know how we can help. For a starter I wrote two StackOverflow questions: - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59153619/plc4x-addressing-system - https://stackoverflow.com/questions/59153944/plc4x-cannot-read-more-than-9-registers-at-once RegardsYves -- Yves Courvoisier Simulation Software Developer M: +41 78 898 13 53 T: +41 22 900 00 53 W: www.enata.com This message, including any attachments may contain confidential and privileged material; it is intended only for the person to whom it is addressed.
