Thanks for clarification Chris. This detail slipped away from me.
Cheers,

We didn't remove the adapter from the project. That's still in the extras repo.
We asked it to be removed from the confluent store, as we were not willing to
put up with the constraints confluent wanted to pile on us without giving
anything back.

Subject: Re: Apache Kafka integration
Hello Kevin,
As far I remember we have removed kafka connect adapter because it
required maintenance which no one was ready to commit.
Can you outline which adapter you would like to configure?
I'd like to mention that there is working component for Apache Camel
which was donated a while ago. You could use it as intermediate way to
seed data from OPC-UA to Kafka broker.
Kind regards,
Łukasz

Does anyone have an OPC-UA config file to share for an Apache Kafka source
connector?
I looked at the config example file that comes with the PLC4X source code
under Kafka integrations section, but none of the parameters used seem
familiar.
I don't need simulated data; I have an IGS OPC-UA server running. I just
need to look at a real config file.
Thank you everyone!
