Well ... I think 200k€ would of course be awesome, but do you thing even one person would donate even one € for that?
I think with something round the 3k€/year it’s a sensible amount where I see a chance in us raining some money, that we can use to organize project meetups (Possibly fly in or help people who live outside of europe). So I would say: * 3k€/Year for keeping Java 11 * 1k/Year for keeping Java 17 And we should mention: if it’s gone, it’s gone ... then the only way to get it, is to pay someone to make it happen.
