If you had asked me several years ago, I would have disagreed, however I am too 
seeing the pain of supporting ancient Java versions and especially with respect 
to upcoming requirements due to CRA and alike, I also think we should no longer 
bind ourselves.

If someone desperately needs PLC4X on older systems, I am happy to help, for a 
sensible fee off course 😉
