Hi, everyone. I'm Daniel Campos (dandrvms at github), a member of the CEOS Automatización team alongside Luis Rodríguez and César García.
I'm working on the development of Malbec, an automation tool that wraps around Merlot and works as a high-level layer to facilitate the parameter and device configuration, as well as many other automation activities. This environment is being developed on top of the NetBeans RCP, leveraging its high modularity and the ease with which it can be extended by creating new modules. Currently, my work focuses on developing a recipe editor. This tool enables the configuration of both the physical and procedural models, as well as the creation of recipes in compliance with the ISA-88 (S88) standard for batch processing systems.
