It's been almost 2 months since we forked for 3.8 beta 2, and there has
been quite a few bug fixes and new features since then.
I think it's probably time for another release, not least because I've got
a couple of Tika patches waiting on the new release before they can go in,
and I'd like to get them in before the next Tika release...
In terms of release numbering, I'd probably vote for another beta right
now, and set a provisional date for the 3.8 FINAL vote for say 3 weeks
time. Happy to be talked into a FINAL vote now though if people think
we're ready?
