In XMLBeans 5.2.2, we upgraded to log4j-api 2.24.1. We have since discovered a
serious issue with using log4j-api 2.24.1 with log4j-core if the log4j-core jar
doesn't match the version exactly. You get NullPointerExceptions.
Please avoid log4j 2.24.x.
