I have four topics so far... all optional depending on community interest. 1. Refactoring Auth N/Z code for flexibility with external policy engines (e.g. OPA) 2. Admin Tool usability and future. 2.1 Preparing for multiple backend (JDBC, Spanner, MongoDB). 2.2 Separating schema management from default principal / role creation (related to (1)) 3. Secrets Management for Storage Integrations. Recent user interest: - https://github.com/apache/polaris/issues/2970 4. Efficient (vended) Credentials Cache. Recent contributions often hit technical difficulties around the credentials cache and new use cases are not always efficiently cached. Cheers, Dmitri.
