I verified the following for Apache Polaris 1.8.0-rc1:
- Automated checks (verify-release.sh): OK
- License report validation (./gradlew generateLicenseReport): OK
- CHANGELOG/version.txt: OK
- Smoke tests:
- Binary distribution: OK
- Source distribution: OK
- Helm chart: OK
However, I found a licensing issue introduced by PR [4823] that I
believe warrants a -1: it created a new file,
tools/config-docs/generator/src/test/java/tests/properties/NestedProps.java,
with an incorrect Dremio license header. Since this file wasn't
contributed by Dremio, its header should be the default ASF one.
