Adopt ES6+ JS syntax It would be great if this can be delayed until tests are stabilised - previous conversion of tests from callback to async/await introduced subtle changes, and may be the cause of some test instability. Also there's often a temptation to improve code in other ways when converting syntax. Hopefully this will be done independently. If you're looking for additional suggestions: there are currently no tests that ensure PouchDB works with multiple browser tabs open. Reports are that the indexeddb adapter doesn't work: * https://github.com/apache/pouchdb/issues/8209 * https://github.com/apache/pouchdb/issues/8494 Working across multiple tabs seems like a reasonable assumption.
