+1 (binding)

Validated 5.0.0-candidate-1 on macOS arm64 with Amazon Corretto
21.0.11 and Gradle 9.8.0.

- Checked SHA-512 checksums and GPG signatures for the source and
server binary distributions
- Verified the source distribution matches the candidate tag
- Built from source and passed quickCheck, RAT and license checks
- Passed 146 V5 tests and 3 Java 17 compatibility tests
- Verified classic and V5 standalone produce/consume and recovery after restart

I did not run the full integration suite, upgrade/downgrade tests, or
Functions, connector and offloader runtime tests.

Regards,
Penghui
