If the issue is just with the time zone, we may always start it as because one like me who is in different time zone can always adjust with it, we may sleep late and work from home late night :-). (Personal opinion)
We may declar the whole day be a bug day. Everyone help the time he can.
For me and for someone in Japan it's impossible to be at the same time in the channel.
We also have a trouble in choosing the day of the week. For me weekends are better, but some of the guys do it as job...
