yup, different builds and versions also very likely won't generate
matching PS output.

Or pipe it through pstopnm from the netpbm tools. These AFAIK even
have comparison tools available. IIRC, Caolan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) has
built something around that, to calculate interoperability metrics.
