Hi all,
I've searched for a bug on IZ, but I'm not sure of the conclusion to
open a new one, so I'm asking for your help :)
A user has an issue with Excel number format containing space at the
end such as :
# ##0_ ; or # ##0" "
Opening the file with Calc, numbers are displayed correctly, but after
saving and re-opening the file, numbers are divided by 1000.
I think (I might be wrong :) this could be related to the fr locale
which have a space to separate the thousand, but I don't have Excel to
test it.
I've read the issues about html import, but don't think this is related.
Or has it something to do with this RFE ?

Thanks in advance
Kind regards
Sophie
Sophie I've tried to replicate the problem with Excel 2003, but
cannot. Do you have any sample data files. I have Office 2003 and OOo
2.0.1, locale is US-English, if that makes a difference.
I'll be glad to run tests for you. Does this have to have an Issue #
assigned before anyone can work on it?
Sincerely,
cal Hancock :-)
