I'm sorry if you aren't able to read this, but referring to your comment
of trying to figure out registration status, etc of program. You should be
able to simply, when your downloading, to right-click on pop-up window, go
to properties and another window should pop-up with all that info.
Also if you have a good Anti-Virus Software, you should change settings
on program, to scan pop-ups and programs going to be installed/saved on
computer, or just have it do a scan on specific item and info. should come
up about prog. and if there are any defects in the program that might affect
your computer. I'd advise you get your Anti-virus software updated, if you
haven't already
About Linux, if you had a question about that. Simply as your computer
is booting up, a little message should be in the bottom right corner of your
screen, it'll say something like "press ESC to enter set-up" press the key
and go to the settings about boot up order, change boot up order to where
CD-ROM(E or F drive), drive is first. Then insert Linux disk into correct
drive and then press key to ESC and save changes, specified on bottom of
screen. Then computer should re-boot and should work just fine.
I hope this helps you! Contact me if you need to know anything else.
