Hello Jim,
it does answer the question. You need to select two cells first to lower
the selection to one cell afterwards. In this case it's possible to
select just one cell which then can be moved via drag&drop.

IMHO that does not answer the question.
The procedure described actually selects A3:A4 and drags those 2 cells onto
A4:A5.
There is no way to drag a single cell, that I can see.
