Hello team,

next Monday my vacation starts and I'll be back on September 4th.

I need someone who wants to contribute to OpenOffice.org by updating the weekly "IssueTracker bug count, features & enhancements, oooqa keyword related and additional statistics" document each Monday beginning next Monday. Otherwise this statistic page will get a gap.

Most things needed are available from the documents download area within the QA pages:

http://qa.openoffice.org/files/documents/77/1395/iz_statistic_2.sxc
This document includes all historic data necessary to generate the new document.

http://qa.openoffice.org/files/documents/77/1962/iz_statistic_dynamic3.sxc
This document is a _helper_ _document_ which gets the data from the report engine of IssueTracker and updates it within this Calc document. If you want to use this document then OpenOffice.org 1.x is required to generate the correct data as the HTML capabilities in OpenOffice.org 2.x development snapshots increased. Otherwise you need to update the external links to get the appropriate tables within OOo 2.x.

If you want to generate the statistics document then please open both documents which I mentioned before. The second document asks if external data can be loaded from the net and therefor you need to configure the proxy settings within OOo if you have a proxy server. Then select C2:C89 on the sheet "Bug_Count" and include it via cut'n paste into a newly inserted column within the iz_statistic_2 document. Then you need to change the inserted strings into numbers (open /Edit/Find & Replace/ and search for .* and replace with & with "Regular Expressions" and "Current Selection only" activated on the inserted selection)
This can be done the same way for the "Features_Enhancements" sheet as well.
Please include the current date as a column header and update the "Changes" column to point to the two left most data columns.

The "oooqa_related_statistic" sheet contains five URL's which you can pick up via copy and paste into the URL bar of your browser just to get the sum at the end of the query.

The "special_interest_stat" sheet is somehow special as the URL's of the first two data rows need to be updated to include the date of the monday of the week before

If you are ready with updating the "iz_statistic_2.sxc" document you can post it to the documents & files area at
http://qa.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList

Before you should create a new document containing the headers which are posted within the ststistics document
http://qa.openoffice.org/iz_statistic.html
...like "defects", "features & enhancements", "oooqa related statistics" and "additional statistics" (formatted in 12pt, bold and including "Automatic line break" which is available within the Alignment tab of the /format/cells dialog). Then copy the data for the last 10 days into this newly created document. For the bug count you can include subtotals (sum) for each day. For the features & enhancements you can add a sum line below the data. If the document is finished then save it first in OOo Calc format and then in HTML format afterwards. I would like to get the Calc document because I collect them. The HTML document can then be posted into the CVS system into the qa/www repository.

If you need CVS access and if you need access rights to save and edit documents within the "documents & files" area within the QA project then please let Martin Hollmichel ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) know about this. He'll provide the necessary access rights.

And please let me know about this.

Kind regards, Joost
